Description
The specimen comprises the outer portion of the left lung, showing an irregular finely-lobulated
surface. Nodules of metastatic tumour vary in size from 1 mm to 1 cm; in some areas they have
become confluent to produce large pleural plaques. The cut surface of the lung shows one
subpleural deposit of tumour (4 x 1.5cm) as well as a number of small tumour nodules. No other
information is available.
